SWIVEL 2 – The car seat that grows with your child

The Britax Römer SWIVEL 2 is an innovative car seat designed to adapt seamlessly as your child grows, transforming from an infant/toddler car seat into a highback booster.

During the first stage (40–105 cm), your child travels rearward-facing and is secured with a 5-point safety harness, as recommended for maximum safety.
In the optional second stage (76–105 cm), the seat can be used forward-facing with the harness.
In the final stage (105–125 cm), the harness is stored away and your child is secured using the vehicle’s 3-point seat belt, always facing forward.

Effortless 360° rotation

The SWIVEL 2 features a smooth 360° rotating system, allowing you to easily switch between rearward- and forward-facing positions. Rotation also makes it much easier to place your child in and out of the car—especially helpful during the early years.

Multiple recline positions

With three recline positions in both directions, the SWIVEL 2 ensures optimal comfort at every stage of growth. An integrated anti-rebound bar reduces rebound movement in a collision and provides extra legroom.

Padded safety and comfort for younger children

Equipped with a softly padded 5-point harness, the SWIVEL 2 offers enhanced protection up to 105 cm. A removable newborn insert ensures a secure and comfortable fit from the very first days.

Full head-to-hip protection for older children

As your child grows, the harness can be neatly stored in a dedicated compartment and replaced by the vehicle’s 3-point seat belt.
Special belt guides ensure correct positioning, while the durable shell with deep side-impact protection and height-adjustable headrest provide outstanding safety throughout use.

Quick and secure installation

Thanks to independently retractable ISOFIX connectors and an adjustable support leg with red/green safety indicators, installation is fast, simple, and reliable.
